This week's topic was 'gravity'. This illustration is born of my not-so-fond memories of being pelted with those freakishly painful red gym balls during school-yard games of dodge ball.I had some fun scanning my original sketch into Photoshop and rendering the ball & shadow digitally.

Ah yes, the dreaded dodge ball ... you've brought back painful memories, bus as they're far in the past I can laugh along with you at your clever illo.
Like what you did with the shadow. Never played dodgeball as a kid but did get hit by a basketball thrown by the PE teacher, it was meant for the lad next but one to me - who was talking in class - what the hell he was teaching PE for with an aim like thet - eh?
